The theme for the day this year was Butterflies and there were various designs, techniques and ideas to see as well as other pieces of embroidery by members of the Branch.

Fletcher Award

In our July meeting we had our Fletcher Award. A big congratulations to this year's winner with her blackwork.

St Teresa's Hospice

Our members have been working hard making tray cloths for our local hospice in Darlington, St Teresa's. On 13th July we presented them to St Teresa's Hospice. Thank you for everyone who took the time to make these.

Mount Pleasant School

Once again some of our members have had a great time working with the staff and children of Mount Pleasant School, Darlington, on the World's Longest Embroidery. Our Chairman, Charity said "I have never seen such commitment from a group of children. They seemed to enjoy all that they did and they worked together really well. I was very impressed by them all and only eight or nine years old.Thank you all, especially Mrs Telfer and Mrs Watson."

See out Facebook page for some pictures of how well they got on.
